We are looking for an experienced SecOps Engineer to Join a stable, dynamic, and growing technological company in the financial sector and take part in the development of the national credit card infrastructure of the State of Israel.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and maintain firewalls, implement security policies, and handle VPN connections for clients and internal users.
- Operate and secure DDoS protection systems (infrastructure and application level: WAF, IPS).
- Manage and harden Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
- Operate and manage communication and information security solutions within the GCP cloud environment.
- Conduct regular system checks and technology upgrades to maintain optimal security.
- Collaborate with IT and information security teams to resolve issues and improve systems.
What are we looking for?
- 5+ years of experience in information security operations – mandatory
- Experience operating information security products (Firewalls, IPS/IDS, DLP, WAF, Mail Relay, Proxy, NAC) – mandatory
- Hands-on experience with EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, Carbon Black) – mandatory
- Strong understanding and analysis of information security incidents, including denial-of-service prevention.
- Experience in architecture characterization and documentation (HLD, LLD, RFP, RFI, SOW).
- Proven track record in leading communication and information security infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in traffic monitoring tools (Tcpdump, Wireshark, Suricata, Snort).
- Experience with security solutions in GCP cloud environments – significant advantage
- Experience with vault management solutions (GoAnywhere, CyberArk) – advantage
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP) – advantage
