MF Developer

We are looking for a talented and experienced MF Developer to join a leading and prominent financial institution. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining core systems that support business customers, ensuring high-quality and efficient services while adhering to regulatory requirements.

As an MF Developer, you will be involved in designing, implementing, and maintaining key business processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and business clients, contributing to the technological transformation of the organization’s systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain core systems for business customers on mainframe environments.
• Design and implement new core processes and services.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for mainframe systems, from development to deployment and maintenance.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate closely with developers from various disciplines and business clients.
• Work in an Agile environment and gain exposure to new methodologies and architectures.
• Contribute to defining business requirements and driving technological transformation across the organization.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in COBOL development on mainframe systems.
• Experience in developing Online services, including COBOL, DB2, CICS, and working with ESB/SAF.
• Experience in developing batch processes using COBOL, DB2, and JCL.
• Strong knowledge of SQL query writing.
• Experience in supporting business clients, handling technical issues, and troubleshooting.
• Strong responsibility, independence, organizational skills, and ability to think strategically.
• Initiative, diligence, energy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• High service orientation and strong teamwork abilities.
• Excellent self-learning capabilities and adaptability to new technologies.
